I stamped them on hot press watercolour paper, then painted with my Gansai Tambi watercolour paints. The set includes metallic silver that I used for the scissors and metallic gold that I used for the stars - in real life they have a nice shimmer to them.
Then a thin border of black, some fun foam to pop it up, and a gold card base.
It's going over to:
Sparkles Christmas Challenges - "Feature a Creature"
Christmas Cards All Year Round - "Family and Friends"
Rudolph Days - April Anything Goes
So what do you think - happy co-operative hedgehog friends, or argumentative hedgehog siblings?
What a fun little scene with the two hedgies Susan, you're reminding me I have to get going with my Christmas cards

I love your cute hedgie Christmas card, Susan! And I don't think they are fighting ... just look at those smiles! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable and I think they are hanging the stars together with great smiles. This is a cute card.
ReplyDeleteWell you know that card makers will always say they are getting along ... but those motion marks beside their faces makes me think they are having a tug of war with the string of stars. :) No matter what is happening, the card is CUTE! Great work Susan! xx
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card and a perfect image for our challenge this month. Thank you for sharing at Christmas Crafts All Year Round.

I think the siblings arguing over who hangs the garland is a fun choice. Hedgie on the right is getting ready to bop brother on the left with her pom pom! LOL, reminds me of my brother and I when we were kids. Great coloring, my friend, especially those tiny scissors!
ReplyDeleteOh I always have a soft spot for PB stamps and you have just reminded me I have that stamp too, I'm loving how you have used it and thanks for joining us at April's Rudolph Days Challenge, Luv Sam x
ReplyDeleteI think they look too happy to be fighing so I vote friends or family helping each other with the hanging of the decorations!
ReplyDeleteSweet image and great card. I love Penny Black images...the critter ones are always adorable!
Thanks for taking part in the April Rudolph Days Challenge.
