The last month of
CAS Mix Up for 2017! Where has the year gone? The challenge for December is wide open:
I'm still in Christmas card mode so made this:
The challenge says "2 items of your choice" (as well as stamping) - it has to be at least two - and can be more. I have watercolour splash, stenciling, glass bead gel, glitter, heat embossing, and die cutting.
Using Distress Antique Linen and Shabby Shutters, I created a splash watercolour background. Then I laid the Holly Bough stencil over the background and sponged over the stencil with Distress Evergreen Bough ink, cleaned off the stencil, put it back and went over it with glass bead gel. When it was dry, I added glue and red glitter to the berries.
I found a small sentiment stamp that would fit amongst the holly and heat embossed it.
I trimmed the panel down to fit behind the die cut pierced frame (die cut twice and glued together for more dimension).
