A blog devoted to the cards I make in my tiny upstairs space. When my sister stays there, she calls it an "artist's garret". I'm not an artist, but am an enthusiastic cardmaker - hence the title "Cardmaker's Garret".

Pastel Houses

The new Peace on Earth mood board has an image on the bottom left corner that inspired this card:

I did some smooshing on watercolour paper with various pale colours of Distress Oxide inks and then die cut the houses and trees.  I put tiny scraps of gold and silver metallic cs behind the window openings of the houses.  Then arranged them on a dry embossed background.

Please check out the other cards by the rest of the Design Team at Peace on Earth.  We'd love to have you join us!

Supplies:
Stamps - Penny Black sentiment
Ink - Distress Oxide Evergreen Bough, Lucky Clover, Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, Speckled Egg
Paper - watercolour paper, off white cs, scraps of gold and silver cs
Size - A2
Accessories - Charlie and Paulchen house dies, Memory Box frosted spruce die, Cuttlebug embossing folder
