A couple of cards just in time for some challenges!
52 Christmas Card Throwdown wants blue and white cards - my favourite colour combination!
I made a background by sprinkling blue Brushos on watercolour paper and spritzing with water. When dry, I trimmed it with a pierced dot rectangle die. I die cut the dove and sentiment from the same white cs as the card base. The Paper Players want a clean and simple card featuring florals.
Stamped, coloured with coloured pencils and blended with a bit of Gamsol, trimmed and mounted on a red card base.

Susan, I think anyone receiving this beautiful card would gladly forgive it being belated! The flowers are so delicate and your soft pencil coloring is the perfect medium for these blooms. Thank you so much for joining the Paper Players this week!

ReplyDeleteWe can see that this is your favorite color combination. You create such a gorgeous Christmas card in blue. I also love the brusho effect and a delicate sentiment with a dove! So pretty. Thank you for playing along with our colour challenge at 52CCT. Valentina DT
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Susan. I haven't used my Brushos for a long time ... need to pull them out and have a play. :) Your dove card is gorgeous. And your belated birthday card is so pretty. Seems like those are the most cards I send now, as I'm always late getting my cards in the mail. xx
