A card for both of Loll's and Bonnie's challenges, CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour:
For CAS Mix Up, I have the watercolour wash, a stamped sentiment, and smooshing and die cutting for my choice. And for CAS Watercolour, I have die cut bird silhouettes. Here's my card:
For the background, I did a graded watercolour wash as shown in this video.
For the focal image, I smooshed various blue, green, and brown oxide
inks into watercolour paper and then die cut the globe out of it.
I added three small silhouette bird dies with their wings spread, flying high above the world.
I am also entering it in the SCS Free for All challenge, "Spread Your Wings and Fly High".
A blog devoted to the cards I make in my tiny upstairs space. When my sister stays there, she calls it an "artist's garret". I'm not an artist, but am an enthusiastic cardmaker - hence the title "Cardmaker's Garret".
