A blog devoted to the cards I make in my tiny upstairs space. When my sister stays there, she calls it an "artist's garret". I'm not an artist, but am an enthusiastic cardmaker - hence the title "Cardmaker's Garret".

Wise Men and Snow Men

A couple of challenges got me going on some more Christmas cards for my stash.

First up, the Merry Christmas Challenge is asking for "wisemen".


Stamped, coloured with markers, and bordered with the three colours of their robes.  I love the bright colours!

And then this week's Merry Monday Christmas Challenge is "snowman, snowwoman, or snowfamily".  Sounds like the same challenge but there's that important difference - the word "Monday" in the challenge name!


Here's mine.  I think of it as a snowwoman since I coloured the scarf purple!


Pretty straightforward - stamped and coloured image, stitched die cut rectangle, various small snowflake dies with purple gemstones, and a bit of purple grosgrain ribbon.

Stamps - Flourishes
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - white, red, green, and blue cs
Size - A2
Accessories - copic markers

Supplies for card 2:
Stamps - Inkadinkado
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - white cs
Size - A2
Accessories - purple gemstones, purple marker, Lil Inker stitched rectangle die, various snowflake dies, purple grosgrain ribbon
