I bought a few older Penny Black stamps recently. They look beautiful simply heat embossed - no need for any colouring or anything fancy. In other words, ideal for making multiples or when you need a quick card.
Beautiful rich gold embossing powder, a stitched square die cut to add interest, a black sentiment and black border, and embellished with a few black gemstones to balance the sentiment.
It's perfect for three challenges this week:
Merry Monday - Make a Christmas card with the word "Noel" on it
My card is also inspired by the neutral colours in their challenge image.
Jingle Belles - No Time like the "Presents"
Merry Christmas Challenge - Clean and Simple
A blog devoted to the cards I make in my tiny upstairs space. When my sister stays there, she calls it an "artist's garret". I'm not an artist, but am an enthusiastic cardmaker - hence the title "Cardmaker's Garret".
