A blog devoted to the cards I make in my tiny upstairs space. When my sister stays there, she calls it an "artist's garret". I'm not an artist, but am an enthusiastic cardmaker - hence the title "Cardmaker's Garret".

Classic Gold, Black, and White

This week's SCS Color Challenge is gold, black, and white with something sparkly for dessert.

I stamped and heat embossed in a very sparkly embossing powder and added a few sequins to balance with the sentiment.

Nothing fancy but I still like doing simple cards with simple techniques, especially heat embossing which was the first technique I ever learned to do!

Supplies:
Stamps - Penny Black ornament, Rubber Soul sentiment
Ink - ColorBox Gold, Ranger Jet Black
Paper - white and black cs
Size - A2
Accessories - Ranger Ancient Gold embossing powder, gold sequins, fun foam
