I used a great Penny Black stamp that always makes me smile. The dog in the image looks so happy to be receiving a kitten for Chrismas. My dog would definitely NOT like to receive a kitten!
It's stamped, then watercoloured, die cut with a stitched square, and bordered with green shimmer paper (that, in real life, is closer in colour to the gift in the image than it appears in the photo).
Please come and join us at Happy Little Stampers. You have until May 28th to link up. The winner will receive a $15 discount from the Happy Little Stampers shop.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet PB image Susan and you have coloured it beautifully and love the stitched mat and pretty shimmer paper behind. I have enjoyed my GD spot and seeing all the fabulous inspiration from you DT members. x
ReplyDeleteAn adorable image, Susan, and beautifully colored! Love the font of the sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteThis is a real cutie Susan, gorgeous images. Carol x
ReplyDeleteDelightful fun image, and this dog looks much too happy to have a kitty as his prezzie. Wonder what he is thinking. Love the stripes and mitering you've done on coloring the box. It's absolutely adorable with the bright green of the mat and of course I always love anything stitched. TFS
