A blog devoted to the cards I make in my tiny upstairs space. When my sister stays there, she calls it an "artist's garret". I'm not an artist, but am an enthusiastic cardmaker - hence the title "Cardmaker's Garret".

Snowman in the Woods

Peace on Earth has a mood board full of snowmen.  I was inspired by the top hat and the red and black scarf in the top right image, and by the trees in the background of the bottom left image.

The snowman is stamped, coloured with Tombow markers, fussy cut, and glued onto the background which was created by using a stencil (more accurately, I should say a tree mask) and Brushos.  I added a red die cut sentiment.

We'd love to have you join us at Peace on Earth, either inspired by our mood board to make a card with a snowman on it or with an "anything Christmas" card.

Supplies:
Stamps - Inkadinkado snowman
Ink - Versafine Onyx Black
Paper - mixed media cs, white and off white cs
Size - A2
Accessories - Tombow marker, blue brushos, tree stencil / mask, joyful die
