A blog devoted to the cards I make in my tiny upstairs space. When my sister stays there, she calls it an "artist's garret". I'm not an artist, but am an enthusiastic cardmaker - hence the title "Cardmaker's Garret".

Embossing for Merry Monday

Merry Monday is one of my favourite Christmas challenges.  This week it is:

 

Here's my card:

 
Using cream shimmer cs, I dry embossed the Cuttlebug folder that has lots of ornaments on it. Then I stamped and heat embossed one of the Penny Black ornaments and cut it out with a matching die.  I also heat embossed the sentiment.

I find the shimmer cs very hard to photograph so forgive the shadows.
 





Supplies:
Stamps - Penny Black ornament, SU sentiment
Ink - Versamark
Paper - Penny Black ornament, SU sentiment
Size - A2
Accessories - Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders ornament die, red cord, red glitter embossing powder, foam tape
